The list of Major League Baseball players with more than 2,500 games is a summary of the major league baseball players who have played more than 2,500 games in the league during their careers. Currently the list consists of 54 players.

The leader of the list is Pete Rose with 3562 games. The then 21-year-old Rose made his debut for the Cincinnati Reds on April 8, 1963 in an away win (2: 5) against the Pittsburgh Pirates in front of 28,896 visitors. At the end of his career, Peter "Pete" Rose returned to the Cincinnati Reds after he was with the Philadelphia Phillies (1979-1983) and the Montreal Expos (1984). Rose played his last game on August 17, 1986 at the age of 45. In the home game they lost 5: 9 to the San Diego Padres in front of 27,175 spectators .

Runner-up Carl Yastrzemski is the player with the most games for a team. From April 11, 1962, when the Boston Red Sox lost 5-2 at home in front of 10,277 visitors at Fenway Park against the Kansas City Athletics until October 2, 1983, when the Red Sox saw the Cleveland Indians 3-1 at home in front of 33,491 spectators beat, Carl "Yaz" Yastrzemski completed 3,308 games for the Boston Red Sox in his career.
