This is a list of cities in Burundi .
By far the largest agglomeration in Burundi is Bujumbura with a population of 1,028,752 (as of 2008). This means that 13% of the country's population is concentrated in the capital region.
The table shows the cities with more than 5000 inhabitants, the results of the census of August 16, 1990 and 2008, and the province to which the city belongs. The population figures refer to the actual city without the suburbs.
