The second Viennese spring water pipeline is a 183 km long drinking water supply pipeline for the city of Vienna . It was built at the instigation of Karl Lueger and, after a ten-year construction period, opened on December 2, 1910 as the 2nd Kaiser-Franz-Josef Spring Pipeline . The aqueduct connects the communities Altlengbach and Maria-Anzbach via the Lengbach, which forms the community boundary here.

Finds of ceramic disks indicate a settlement of the Buchberg high plateau from the late Neolithic to the Celtic period. According to excavations, it is believed that the largest prehistoric ramparts in the Vienna Woods were located here, around 350 to 400 meters long and 150 meters wide. The area of ​​the hilltop settlement extends over areas of the communities Maria-Anzbach and Neulengbach .

Mighty late Gothic staggered church, stands in the center of the village on a plateau with z. T. medieval walling. Three-aisled nave with a high, ribbed central nave, built 1468–1491; mighty imagined west tower. Destroyed by the Turks in 1529, rebuilt in 1629 and adapted as a fortified church.

The Annunziatakloster "Am Stein" at Klosterstrasse 5 in Furth, founded on August 4, 1898 and belonging to the Maria Anzbach parish, ceased operations at the end of March 2011. It was the first branch of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary in Austria.
