The parish church of Loich ( patronage : St. Nicholas ) was first mentioned in a document in 1667 as a branch of the parish of Kirchberg an der Pielach . However, the 13th century is assumed to be the date of construction. The medieval building has a single nave and a baroque choir with a late Gothic core. The furnishings include a high altar from 1691, two side altars from around 1870, a pulpit from the late 17th century from a nearby castle chapel and a popular altar made in 1998 with an ambo .
