The inner area of ​​the fort was completely built over from the Middle Ages, so that only small-scale investigations are possible, for example in the course of construction work. The oldest finds are assigned to barracks from the wood-earth period. Other finds include, among other things, pillars from the hall of a larger building and a tank statue. The remains of a cellar room for the storage of the troop coffers ( aerarium ) were converted into a burial chamber in the Middle Ages. Some areas have been made accessible to those interested.
