The second Viennese spring water pipeline is a 183 km long drinking water supply pipeline for the city of Vienna . It was built at the instigation of Karl Lueger and, after a ten-year construction period, opened on December 2, 1910 as the 2nd Kaiser-Franz-Josef Spring Pipeline .

In addition to other structures of the II. Vienna high spring water pipeline , the municipal area also includes the entrance tower 105 ( Lage ), the Dürrwiendüker with its inlet (EK 106, Lage ) and outlet chamber (AK 107, Lage ), which extends over a horizontal distance of around 95 meters Tal der Dürren passes under Vienna , access tunnel 108 ( Lage ) and the two entry towers 109 ( Lage ) and 110 ( Lage ).

The Catholic parish church “ St. Theresia vom Kinde Jesu ”in Rekawinkel is a free-standing small church building with a southern choir tower. The high altar shows a miraculous image of Mary with child in a halo. It was originally planned by the architect Alfred Keller in honor of Cardinal Piffl and was finally consecrated in 1935 as the "Dollfuss Memorial Church" in memory of the murdered Chancellor Dollfuss .

The breakthrough of the 307.13 m long tunnel took place on November 7th, 1857. The tunnel portals built in the ashlar masonry with the date 1858 carved and lion head masks on the keystones are provided with small turrets.
