List of planned and under construction gas power plants in Germany

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The following list contains planned and under construction gas power plants in Germany . As a result of strong overcapacities in the German and European power plant park and the u. a. The resulting very low electricity exchange prices are currently dormant most conventional power plant projects, as the economic viability is often no longer given. This applies in particular to gas-fired power plants which, in the order in which the power plants are operated, the so-called merit order , come into play very late and have correspondingly decreasing operating hours.
