This list of Portuguese-Senegalese town and municipality partnerships shows the town and municipality friendships between the countries of Portugal and Senegal .

Since the first partnership in 1989, three friendships have developed between Portuguese and Senegalese municipalities (as of 2010). The background to this is mostly the historical Portuguese-Senegalese relations , when Portuguese trading bases existed in Senegal from the 15th century . So Ziguinchor a Portuguese establishment, and the locations of Lagos and Goree were both trading stations of the slave trade .
