This list of Moroccan-Portuguese city and municipality partnerships shows the city and municipality friendships between the countries of Morocco and Portugal .
The town twinning often makes reference to centuries-old Moroccan-Portuguese relations . In 1985 Tangier and Faro entered into their first partnership, since then a total of 16 Moroccan-Portuguese city friendships have been established or initiated (as of 2013).
