This list of Portuguese-Tunisian city and municipality partnerships shows the city and municipality friendships between the countries of Portugal and Tunisia .
Five partnerships between Portuguese and Tunisian municipalities have been entered into since 1993 (as of 2010). They mostly arose with reference to the common historical connections when both countries were part of the Arab Empire for centuries .
