The Litte , also called Litt- or Littewasser , is a tributary of the Großschweidnitzer water in Saxony .

course

The Litte arises from two source streams that unite at the Kleindehsaer Mühle.

  • The right one is the Wiesenlitte , it rises 360 m above sea level. NN in the Cunewald district of Halbau and flows through Kleindehsa .
  • The Waldlitte rises between the Hochstein (542 m) and the Richtersberg in the eastern part of the Czornebohkette near the bush houses and runs between the villages of Kleindehsa and Großdehsa.

After the confluence, the Litte runs to the southeast and flows around the Bubenik . The further course leads south of the Fuchsberg (345 m) and the Lärchenberg (331 m). In the lower section of the river it crosses the state road 151 near the Landhaus Schminke and flows past the Nonnenberg (315 m) near Großschweidnitz , where it bends sharply to the south and flows around the grounds of the state hospital and the manor to the Großschweidnitzer water. The Litte has a total length of 9 km.

Tributaries

Several streams flow into the Litte, all of which flow in from the west. From Streitfeldstraße Coming leads the dispute fields of water , of Lawalde the Laubaer water that sometimes old Litte is called. The last significant tributary is the Neißwasser , which flows in north of the specialist hospital from the west. The reason for this is the earlier flushing of a new fluidized bed in the west and south of the ridge between Bubenik, Fuchsberg and Lärchenberg in the loess loam soil. This created a separate water system from the original tributaries of the Seltenrein .

environment

Characteristic for the Litte is its natural course, on which there is no settlement up to Großschweidnitz apart from the Kleindehsaer mill. The upper course is lined with wet meadows that merge into deciduous forest vegetation below the Bubenik, in which rare plant species can be found.
