Lothar Grützner (born November 20, 1926 in Dresden ; † January 31, 2018 in Hamburg ) was a German actor , radio play and voice actor .

Grützner played supporting roles in various films from the late 1950s to the early 1980s, such as a. in The Night Before The Premiere  (1959), The Conscience (TV title Chase at Midnight ; 1974) and in the TV film Die Included von Altona  (1980), he also played Sergeant Robbins in the 1965 three-part play The Gentlemen Ask To Cashier . In episode roles he was z. B. in the series Cliff Dexter  (1968), Graf Yoster  (1969) and Tatort  (1972) to see.

However, Lothar Grützner was mainly known as a speaker. He lent his sonorous, baritone-rich voice to numerous characters in radio plays, such as the lead role in the radio drama series Detective Columbus & Son in 1981 . Children know his voice above all from " Sesame Street ", where he often vocalized a visit to Grobi, who works as a waiter in the restaurant, as a discerning guest. In the EUROPA radio play series "The Three Question Marks" he was often cast in various speaking roles since the early 1980s.
