Louis Pons
Marie Emilé Louis Pons (born October 18, 1914 in Paris , † July 30, 1980 ) was a French racing driver .
Racing career
Louis Pons was a close friend of Jean Rédélé , the founder of Alpine , with whom he was a works driver at Renault in the 1950s . He started four times in the 24-hour races of Le Mans , where he was 25th overall in 1950 in a Renault 4CV .
Twice, in 1952 and 1954 , he and Rédélé won the racing class for touring cars up to 0.7 liters in the Mille Miglia . The emergency vehicle here was also a Renault 4CV.
