Mike and Claudia took a "relationship break" nine years ago, which has lasted until the present. He spends time with their 15-year-old daughter Hannah on a regular basis. She thinks he's much cooler than Thomas, her mother's new friend. When Mike had to vacate his apartment because of rent arrears, he borrowed an old trailer from his boss Achim and drove with Hannah to the campsite, which they and Claudia had often visited before. The daughter guides her 30-year-old friend there; she wants sex for the first time on her 16th birthday .

Claudia and Thomas also appear one after the other at the campsite and later separate. Mike gets closer to Claudia again and they meet for a "second first date". She is promoted, he moves to the square and becomes the new groundskeeper there.

In her criticism of film releases, Antje Wessels draws the conclusion that the film is "a lovingly told and authentically played patchwork comedy", "which lives mainly from [the] charismatic performance of Peter Trabner."
