Luka Tošič (born March 10, 1988 in Jesenice , SR Slovenia ) is a Slovenian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HDD Jesenice in the Austrian-Slovenian Inter-National League since 2014 .

Career

Luka Tošič began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth department of HK MK Bled , for whose professional team he played in the Slovenian ice hockey league for the first time in the 2007/08 season , after he had already played a few games on loan for HK Triglav Kranj in this class in the previous season had completed. In 2009/10 he played with his team in the Slohokej League , but moved to HDK Maribor before the playoffs , with whom he won the league by beating HK Partizan Belgrade in the final . He then moved to the Diables Rouges de Briançon in the French Ligue Magnus , with whom he reached the final of the French League Cup. Despite this relative success, he moved to HK Jesenice after just one season in his Slovenian hometown , for which he was on the ice in the Austrian ice hockey league and in the playoffs of the Slovenian ice hockey league . Since the team was dissolved after the season for financial reasons, he moved to Italy for HC Alleghe in the summer of 2012 . But even there, the Wandervogel only lasted a year and he first moved to the Ours de Villard-de-Lans in the French Ligue Magnus and returned in 2014 to his hometown Jesenice, where he played with HDD Jesenice in the Inter-National League and the Slovenian ice hockey league. In 2015 he won the Slovenian championship with the club .

International

For Slovenia , Tošič took part in the junior division of the U18 World Cup in Division I in 2006 and the U20 World Cup in Division I in 2007 and 2008 .

In the senior division, he was in his country's squad at the World Cup in the top division in 2013 and in Division I in 2014 , when he was immediately promoted back to the top division after relegation in the previous year.
