Lukas Grozurek (born December 22, 1991 in Vienna ) is an Austrian football player . Since 2019 he has been under contract with Karlsruher SC as a loan player for SK Sturm Graz .

Career

In his youth he played in the youth and amateur departments of the Vienna SK , in the season 2008/09 he was accepted into the professional department.

In 2010/11 he switched to the amateurs of SK Rapid Vienna . During the winter break of the 2011/12 season, he got a professional contract. He made his debut in the Austrian Bundesliga for Rapid Vienna on February 12, 2012. He scored the first goal for his new club on May 13, 2012. After failing to assert himself in the following seasons, he switched to in December 2014 FC Admira Wacker Mödling .

Lukas Grozurek signed a contract with Admira until summer 2016 with an option for a further year. In May 2017 he signed a contract until 2018 with another optional extension.

For the 2018/19 season he switched to league competitor SK Sturm Graz , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2021. In the 2018/19 season he made 26 appearances in the Bundesliga, scoring five goals, and ended the season with the club in fifth place in the table. Storm finally qualified for the Europa League via the play-offs .

The German second division promoted Karlsruher SC signed the striker on loan for one year for the 2019/20 season . By the end of the loan, he came to 18 second division appearances for KSC.
