Mád is a Hungarian community in district Szerencs in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén .
Geographical location
Mád is located in northern Hungary , 44 kilometers northeast of the county seat of Miskolc . Neighboring communities are Rátka and Tállya , each nine kilometers away. The nearest town, Szerencs , is 10 kilometers southwest of Mád. The community is located in the Tokaj wine region .
