history

Waldhaus was founded in 1853 by Roman's landowner , Alexander Andrae, as an asylum for released prisoners who were to be integrated into society through agricultural work. In 1862 Waldhaus had 18 residents.

In 1898 Waldhaus was sold by the then landowner von Roman and has since been managed by two farmers. In 1919 Roman's new landowner, Ludwig von Dewitz , bought Waldhaus back for the estate. From then until 1945 it was managed as a Vorwerk of the estate in Roman.

After the Second World War , Waldhaus, like all of Western Pomerania, came to Poland. It received the Polish place name Małobór . Today the place is desolate.
