Madison Danielle Davenport (born November 22, 1996 in San Antonio , Texas ) is an American actress .

life and career

Davenport made her first television appearances in 2005 at the age of eight, where she played supporting roles in the television series Numbers , Close to Home , CSI: NY and Hot Properties - Well Built and Still To Be.

In 2006 she lent her voice to the porcupine child Quillo in the animated film Ab durch die Hecke (German voice: Leonard Walenta) as well as the video game of the same name and the animated short film Hammy's Boomerang Adventure . In 2007 her voice was heard in the direct-to-DVD cartoon Christmas Is Here Again , where she also sang three pieces of music from the film's soundtrack. For this achievement she was nominated in 2008 for the Annie Award in the category "Best Voice Acting in Animated Television Production" .

2008 Davenport played in the comedy film Kit Kittredge: An American Girl , the role of Ruthie Smithens ; Together with Abigail Breslin , Austin MacDonald, Zach Mills, Willow Smith and Max Thieriot , she received the Young Artist Award in 2009 . In 2009 she played in the horror film The Attic Door , the main role of Caroline . Most recently, she had guest appearances on the television series CSI: Vegas and Dr. House and played the role of Ethel in the series Shameless from 2011 to 2012 .

In 2012 Davenport starred in the horror thriller Possession alongside Jeffrey Dean Morgan , and she also has a role in the NBC comedy series Save Me with Anne Heche .

Madison Davenport has a brother four years her junior, Gage Davenport, who has also been an actor and speaker since 2007.
