Madonna and Child (Marcenais)

The sculpture Madonna and Child in the Notre-Dame church in Marcenais , a French commune in the Gironde department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , was created in the Middle Ages . In 1981 the sculpture was added to the list of listed objects ( Base Palissy ) in France as Monument historique .

The color combined sculpture is made of stone. Mary with a crown on her head holds the baby Jesus on her left arm. Your left hands are touching. Both look at the viewer.
