Manfred Greif (born October 14, 1939 in Kiel ; † April 3, 1999 ) was a German soccer player who played 61 Bundesliga matches as a striker for 1. FC Nürnberg from 1964 to 1967 , scoring ten goals.

career

Kiel, until 1964

From the amateur camp of Union-Teutonia Kiel , the "yellow shirts" from Professor-Peters-Platz, the attacking talent Manfred Greif switched to the "Störchen" from Holstein Kiel in the Oberliga Nord in 1961 . The attacker, who can be used on both wings, made his debut on August 20, 1961 in a 5-2 away win at Altona 93 in the Oberliga Nord. Greif formed together with Gerd Koll , Eitel Galle , Horst Martinsen and Alfred Bornemann the attack of the Kiel “Storks”, who scored a total of 84 goals and thus finished fifth in the table in the north.
