Manuela Freifrau von Perfall (born July 25, 1952 in Bonn ; † September 2, 2018 ) was a German writer .

Life

Manuela von Perfall comes from the old Bavarian noble family Perfall . She attended the country school home in Schondorf am Ammersee . At that time, from 1970 to 1971, she played in the music group Siloah and with them brought out what is now a much sought-after underground LP. She then began training as a goldsmith in Italy , but then studied social education and psychology in Munich . One of the results of her studies was later her educational book The Case with Love , which is aimed primarily at girls. She then moved back to the family's ancestral home, Schloss Greifenberg am Ammersee, where she ran the Power Flower flower shop and wrote books, mainly crime novels , children's and animal books. She also worked as a freelance journalist , especially for various lifestyle magazines. In addition, she organized an annual dog festival and cultural events at Greifenberg Castle. Manuela von Perfall's book When the Dachshund Disappeared from the Painting is still seen by many as a role model for introducing children to works of art in an age-appropriate and entertaining way. She was married to the artist Ali Nasseri and died unexpectedly in September 2018 at the age of 66.
