Marco Ammer (born April 7, 1976 in Schwäbisch Hall ) is a German television presenter , actor and voice actor .

Life

After graduating from high school, Marco Ammer first completed an apprenticeship as a banker at Bausparkasse Schwäbisch Hall . He started his first television job in 2000, as CvD of the youth program NBC GIGA , which received the 2001 Grimme Online Award . He was then deputy. Editor-in-chief at the digital youth radio station Megaradio in Munich. From 2005 he studied acting at the Charlottenburg Acting School in Berlin . Engagements as a guest at the Deutsches Theater in Berlin and at the Theater der Altstadt in Stuttgart followed.

TV moderation

Even before studying acting, Marco Ammer was a presenter for the Berlin-based special-interest broadcasters Spreekanal and K1010 . He then took on broadcasts as a permanent presenter on N-TV Newsquiz , on the DIY channel XXhome and on the book channel Lettra . Because of his experience at NBC GIGA, he has been a regular guest at MDR at 4 as a technology expert since 2016 . Since March 18, 2017, he and his colleague Tobias Ufer have been moderating the daily television magazine " nihao Deutschland " , which is broadcast on TV Berlin , Rhein-Main TV , BW Family.tv , center.tv and Hamburg 1 , among others .

Marco Ammer has been standing in front of the microphone for large and small roles in series and movies since 2007. Ammer has continuous roles in the television series Santa Clarita Diet ( Timothy Olyphant as 'Joel Hamond'), Love (Mike Mitchell as 'Randy Monahan') and The Wire ( Kwame Patterson as 'Monk').
