Maria Loja
Maria Loja ; actually Henny Anna Maria Hinsch (born February 12, 1890 in Hamburg ; † January 3, 1953 in Berlin ; also known as Maria Loja-Stiebner or Maria Loya ) was a German actress and radio play speaker .
Life
Maria Loja was born as the daughter of the innkeeper Hermann Hinsch and his wife Amanda. She played under Erich Ziegel at the Hamburger Kammerspiele and had engagements at various Berlin theaters for many years (most recently at the Theater am Schiffbauerdamm ).
From 1934 she also worked in various film productions . Among them were the movies Mach 'me happy from the year 1935 by Arthur Robison with Emil Birron , Egon Brosig and Else Elster and 1943 Romanze in Moll in the direction of Helmut Käutner with Marianne Hoppe , Paul Dahlke and Ferdinand Marian . In 1949 she played a landlady in the DEFA film Rotation by Wolfgang Staudte with Paul Esser , Irene Korb and Werner Peters . In addition, she occasionally worked as a radio play speaker.
Maria Loja was married to the actor Hans Stiebner . Together with her husband she also taught as an acting teacher. Among other things, she trained the actor Martin Benrath . The director and actor Axel von Ambesser also received lessons from the couple.

Maria Loja died in 1953 in Berlin-Schmargendorf .
