Maria Seidenschwann

Maria Seidenschwann (born November 26, 1943 in Regensburg ) is a German painter , graphic artist , sculptor and installation artist .

Life

Seidenschwann studied from 1969 to 1973 at the Graphic Academy in Munich with Herbert Stelzer . This was followed by a teaching degree for art education at the Ludwig Maximilians University there from 1974 to 1978, also in Munich. She has been working as a freelance artist since 1978.

She exhibited her works in the gallery at the theater in Fürth , in the Jesuit church in Aschaffenburg , in the Upper Palatinate artist house "Kebbel Villa" in Schwandorf , in the Art Gallery Sotos in Thessaloniki in Greece , in the St. Anna Chapel in Passau , in the Salzstadel in Regensburg and in the Borey Art Center / Galereya borey in Saint Petersburg . Since 1996 she has also participated several times in the Great East Bavarian Art Exhibition (GOK) of the BBK Niederbayern / Oberpfalz .

Works by her are in the collections of the Bayerische Staatsgemäldesammlungen in Munich, the University of Regensburg , the OBAG , the museums of the city of Regensburg and the government of the Upper Palatinate .
