Mario Jann (born January 6, 1980 in Rosenheim ) is a former German ice hockey player ( striker ) who was under contract with EHC Munich for many years and is a record player there.
Career
Jann began his career at the age of 17 at EHC Klostersee in the 1997/98 season, but after a year he switched to Erding Jets , for whom he played between 1999 and 2001. After his time in Erding, Jann moved to Starbulls Rosenheim for the 2002/03 season , before going to EHC Munich for the 2003/04 season , where he was number 9 until summer 2010.
In the summer of 2010, the EHC Munich announced that the contract with Mario Jann would not be extended. Mario Jann then moved to the Bavarian League for ESC Dorfen .
On January 10, 2011, Mario Jann was reactivated until the end of the season due to the large list of injuries at the EHC Munich.
In the internal best list of the EHC Munich, Jann is the field player with the most appearances with 433 games played, 87 goals and 104 assists (as of Jan. 2018).
Between 2012 and 2014 Jann ran at TEV Miesbach in the Bavarian ice hockey league , then he let his career end at EHC Bad Aibling .
