Marisa Growaldt

Marisa Growaldt (born August 22, 1972 in Traunstein ) is a German actress .

Career

Growaldt first studied theater studies, German literature and art history at the University of Vienna , at the Free University of Berlin and at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . In the 1990s she took part in performances and art events in Austria and Germany in the vicinity of the Odradek siblings. She subsequently founded the art collective AMPE Geusau with Peter Kozek, Andreas Erstling and Elinor Mora. From 1997 to 2006, theatrical performance installations were mainly created in vacant, abandoned rooms in Vienna.

In 2004 she graduated from the Classe Libre des Cours Florent in Paris . This was followed by theater, performance and video projects as well as guest roles for film and television. In 2011 her first short film directorial work "Vogelfrei" was shown at the Diagonale in Graz.

Marisa Growaldt lives in Chiemgau and Paris.
