Mark Ulano

Mark Ulano (born June 12, 1954 in New York City ) is an award-winning American sound engineer and winner of the Oscar for best sound . He was nominated three times at the BAFTA Awards and has worked with Quentin Tarantino for over 21 years .

Life

Ulano has been working in film and television since 1975 and has so far been involved in the sound mixing of more than 100 productions. He is one of the winners of the Oscar for "Best Sound" for the film Titanic (1997). In 2010 he was nominated again for his work on Inglourious Basterds . In 1998, 2004 and 2013 he was nominated for Best Sound at the BAFTA Awards . He has been married to Patrushkha Mierzwa since 1981.
