Markus Rühmkorf (born December 1, 1989 in Vienna ) is an Austrian football player on the position of midfielder . He currently plays at ASK Kottingbrunn in the Lower Austrian regional league .

Career

youth

Rühmkorf began his active career as a football player in 1997 in the youth division of SC Kaiserebersdorf in Vienna's 11th district of Simmering . There he was active up to and including 2001. Before that, from 1999 to 2000 he moved to SC Mannswörth as a youth cooperation player , to Mannswörth , a cadastral municipality of Schwechat , near Schwechat Airport . Immediately after his return he joined First Vienna FC 1894 in early March 2000, whose team was already active in the second division at that time.

At first only as a cooperation player , Rühmkorf was finally accepted as a full team member of the club in June 2001. He then went through various youth leagues until 2007 and made his debut in the club's combat team in 2006, which had been back in the Regionalliga Ost , one of three seasons of the third-highest division, since 2001 .

Club career

During the summer break before the 2006/07 season , the club announced that Rühmkorf had moved up from the U-17 youth team to the regional league team and was still on the squad list as a striker .

Rühmkorf finally made his regional league debut on August 25, 2006, when he was substituted on for Dutchman Paul Weerman in the 72nd minute of the 3-0 defeat by the Wiener Sportklub . Overall, the 16-year-old made short appearances in three championship games in the 2006/07 season. In his last appearance of the season he came on June 8, 2007 in a 5-0 away win over SC Zwettl in the 65th minute for Adam Mogyoro and scored exactly 20 minutes later to make it 5-0.

The following season 2007/08 was similar for Rühmkorf. In three league games he only came on short stakes (his longest stint lasted an hour) and remained without a goal. In the 2008/09 season , Vienna coach Peter Stöger tried to integrate the now 19-year-old Rühmkorf more into the team. What followed was a total of 26 league appearances, of which he only played a few over the full duration of the match. At the end of the season, Vienna was three points behind SV Horn in first place in the Regionalliga Ost and with Osman Bozkurt also had the league's top scorer in the team. Before that, in January 2009, he won the Vienna Stadthallentourier with First Vienna FC 1894 . Rühmkorf was in four games and scored two goals.

During the 2009/10 season , Rühmkorf was once again an integral part of the team, but again he had to be satisfied with short appearances. He made his professional debut in the first round of the season when he was on the pitch on July 14, 2009 in a 1-1 away draw against FC Gratkorn and in the 79th minute by Philipp, who was exactly the same day Hiba was substituted. Until he left in winter 2009, Rühmkorf had played in 13 championship games.

In the 2012/13 season Markus Rühmkorf played for SC Retz and from summer 2013 for the Burgenland club SV Stegersbach (both Regionalliga Ost). In winter 2014 he moved to the Burgenland League for SC Neusiedl am See. At the end of the season he was promoted to the Regionalliga Ost with the NSC. After two years in the Burgenland League at ASK Horitschon from 2015, Markus Rühmkorf moved back to the Lower Austrian State League at ASK Kottingbrunn in summer 2017.
