Marlene Zapf (born January 6, 1990 in Landau ) is a German handball player . The 1.70 meter tall left-hander plays both in the right back space and on the right wing .
Career
society
Marlene Zapf started handball in 1995 at TV 03 Wörth . From 2005 she played for TSG Ketsch , where she was part of the Bundesliga team from the 2006/07 season . In 2009, Zapf moved to Bayer 04 Leverkusen . In 2010 she won the DHB Cup with the Elves . In February 2014 it was announced that she would play for TuS Metzingen from the 2014/15 season .
National team
Marlene Zapf made her debut for the German national team on November 28, 2010 in Rotenburg an der Fulda against Austria . She has played 78 international matches so far , scoring 170 goals. With Germany, she took part in the 2013 World Cup and scored 17 goals in seven games.
