Mats Lindmark (born October 21, 1974 in Umeå ) is a former German - Swedish ice hockey player who last played in the 2009/10 season at ESV Kaufbeuren in the 2nd Bundesliga ice hockey in the position of defender .

Career

Mats Lindmark started his career at Skellefteå AIK in 1993 in the Swedish Division 1 . There he defended for three seasons before moving to IK Pantern in 1996 . Lindmark was in the IK squad for two seasons before he moved to Germany on the Main to ERC Haßfurt . He played at EC Peiting for the next three seasons . In the following season he was signed to EV Landshut . In Landshut, Mats Lindmark was on the ice for two seasons. In 2004 he signed with the Lausitzer Füchsen , for which he played two seasons. For the 2006/07 season, Lindmark moved under the Alpspitze to 10-time German champions SC Riessersee , who was in the top division at the time. With SC Riessersee he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in the 2006/07 season . In 2008, when he was still under contract with the SCR, Mats Lindmark took part in the ESBG Allstar Game for the Black-Red-Gold team, which the United Nations team, in which his SCR colleague Mark McArthur played, won 10 : 14 defeated. In the 2007/08 and 2008/09 seasons Lindmark was Alternate Captain for the SCR. In the 2009/10 season Mats Lindmark defended for ESV Kaufbeuren in the 2nd Bundesliga. This should be the last station of his professional career.
