Matthias Glarner

Matthias Glarner (born December 19, 1985 in Meiringen ) is a Swiss wrestler .

Glarner won the final course against Armon Orlik at the 2016 Swiss Wrestling and Alpine Festival at Estavayer-le-Lac in front of a good 50,000 spectators , making him the national wrestling king. In addition to the wreath, the winning prize was the black and white spotted Muni “Mazot de Cremo ”. Due to an accident, he was out for a long time 10 months later, but then won 4th place at the evening swing in Fankhaus 2019.

In 2019, Glarner was ranked 85th in the official annual points list of the Swiss Wrestling Association .

Glarner competes for the Meiringen Wrestling Club and lives in Heimberg . He is a trained polymechanic and trained sports teacher. The soccer player Stefan Glarner is his brother.
