Max Zimmermann (born September 12, 1999 in Vienna ) is an Austrian ice hockey goalkeeper who has been under contract with the Vienna Capitals in the Austrian ice hockey league since 2014 and plays for their farm team in the Alps Hockey League .

Career

Max Zimmermann began his career in the youth department of Vienna Capitals . He was appointed to the professional squad for the 2017/18 EBEL season and made his EBEL debut on October 6, 2017 in a 4-3 win against HC Orli Znojmo . Just 24 hours later, he celebrated his first EBEL shutout, making him the youngest goalkeeper in league history to succeed.
