Taylor Vause (born September 28, 1991 in Calgary , Alberta ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Vienna Capitals in the Austrian ice hockey league since 2016 .
Career
Vause played in his youth with the Swift Current Broncos in the Western Hockey League , where he was awarded the Doug Wickenheiser Memorial Trophy in the 2011/12 season . He made his professional debut with the Texas Stars in the AHL at the end of the 2011/12 season and won the Calder Cup two years later .
After the season with the Adirondack Flames , the farm team of the Calgary Flames , and the Colorado Eagles , Vause moved to Europe to HC Bozen in the EBEL . For the next season, Vause moved to the Vienna Capitals , where he signed a one-year contract.
