In 1996 Cyrin moved to Paris , where he studied the music of Burt Bacharach , Elvis Presley and the Beach Boys . In the meantime he appeared on Radio Nova and in the Baron night club as a crooner .

His musical Les Valets De La Hype premiered in Paris in early 2005.

He also performed live with these cover versions. 2005 was published under the pseudonym Metronome a piano version of Laurent Garnier's techno classic Acid Eiffel on the compilation Office 2005 Mega Soft . In the same year Cyrin released the album Modern Rhapsodies on Garnier's label F Communications , with which he became known internationally to a larger audience. The album only contained piano reinterpretations of well-known pieces of music by artists such as Depeche Mode , Felix , Sueño Latino , Aphex Twin , Massive Attack , Laurent Garnier, DJ Rolando , LFO , Moby and The Sabers of Paradise .

On the next album Novö Piano (2009) he covered pieces of music by artists such as the Pixies , Justice , Cocteau Twins , My Bloody Valentine , Daft Punk , Arcade Fire , Nirvana , MGMT , Jacno and Beyonce & Jay-Z . His cover version of the Pixies song Where Is My Mind? later served as the soundtrack for television series such as Mr. Robot or The Leftovers .

In 2012 the album The Fantasist was released . Two more albums followed three years later, Nocturnes and Novö Piano II . The latter included covers by Rob D , Dominique A , The Cure , Grace Jones , Goldfrapp , Soundgarden , Björk , Gavin Bryars , Billy Idol and Van Halen .
