Maxim Kriat ( Ukrainian Максим Алексеевич Крят Maksym Alekseewytsch Krjat ; born September 12, 1984 in Lviv , Ukrainian SSR ) is a former Ukrainian triathlete.

Career

Maxim Kriat mainly took part in triathlon competitions over the Olympic distance (1.9 km swimming, 90 km cycling and 21.1 km running). Its first international results appear in 2004.

In 2009 he reached second place at the Ironman Florida and in November 2011 he was able to repeat this success. In 2013 he started at the Ironman Hawaii and finished 41st.

Maxim Kriat is co-founder and sporting director of the RedLava Triathlon Team . He started in Germany for the Bayer 05 Uerdingen club . He has not appeared internationally since 2018.

Maxim Kriat studied sports at the University of Lviv. He lives in Nur-Sultan (Astana until 2019) and has been engaged since February 2018.
