Jane C. Loudon

  • Novel “The Mummy! A Tale of the Twenty-Second Century ”, 3 vols., London 1827. The mummy is the Pharaoh Cheops who was raised from the dead with the help of a galvanic battery .
    • 2nd ed. 1828, 3 vol.
    • Published in 1994 by Alan Rauch in Ann Arbor.

Théophile Gautier

  • Short story "Le pied de momie" 1840.
  • The novel “Le Roman de la Momie”, Paris 1858. The mummy here is that of Mrs. Tahoser, who was found in the grave of Seti II or Ramses III. Is found.
    • German: The novel of the mummy, 1925. 331 pages. Transferred from Alastair for Avalun-Verlag.
    • The earlier edition from around 1923 has been shortened to around 150 pages and heavily edited.

Bram Stoker

  • Novel “The Jewel of Seven Stars”, London 1903. Here it is the mummy of Mrs. Tera that is brought to England.
    • In 1975 Arrow Books London published a paperback edition.
    • “The Amulet of the Mummy” 2004 seems to be a translation into German.
