Mehmet Yilmaz (actor)

Mehmet Yilmaz (* 1970 in Lauffen am Neckar ) is a German actor of Turkish origin. From 2004 to 2008 he played Mehmet , the best friend of the greengrocer Nils in the German version of Sesame Street .

Yilmaz studied acting at the Saar University of Music in Saarbrücken and graduated as a graduate actor.

Yilmaz made his film debut in Roland Emmerich's Moon 44 . In addition to other appearances in film, television and at the theater, Yilmaz also made numerous dubbing works and appeared in radio plays on WDR , NDR , RBB , Deutschlandradio , SWR , SDR and SR .
