Melanie Höppner (born April 26, 1982 in Neuruppin ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career hall

Höppner played in the 2nd Bundesliga North for SC Potsdam , for TSV Rudow Berlin , for Köpenicker SC II and for SG Rotation Prenzlauer Berg . Since 2018 she played for the regional league team Berliner VV , with whom she was promoted to the 3rd division north in 2019 .

Career Beach

In 2003, Höppner played with Juliane Albert at the Renault Beach Cup in Leipzig and Warnemünde . In 2004 she was in the main field for the first time with Regina Burchardt in Binz and reached 13th place. In 2005 she and Kathrin Krönig reached the main field via qualification and came 13th in Erfurt and Binz, fourth in Leipzig and ninth in Wyk auf Föhr . She achieved the same place with Ramona Stucki in Wangerooge . After a 13th place in Leipzig with Maria Wendisch , Höppner / Stucki were unable to participate in the main field in 2006. In 2007 there were two more 13th places in Kühlungsborn and Norderney . In 2008 Höppner formed a duo with Eve Schmidt-Ott . They were seventh in Norderney and Fehmarn and 13th in Binz. There was also a fifth place in Munich with Melanie Gernert . In 2009 Elena Kiesling became Höppner's new partner. She also finished the tournaments in Essen and Sankt Peter-Ording in 13th place, which Höppner achieved in between with Bianca Meinhardt in Usedom . At the end of the season Höppner / Kiesling finished fifth in Bonn . In 2010 they finished ninth in Fehmarn, Bonn and Sankt Peter-Ording after a 13th place in Norderney. In 2011 she achieved two 13th places with Kathrin Rübensam and Meinhardt in Hamburg and Norderney and a ninth place in Sankt Peter-Ording.

After a year break, she returned in 2013 and worked first with Sarah Hoppe and then with Ines Wilkerling . She achieved a further ninth and 13th places. In 2014, a fifth place in Hamburg and a seventh place in Sankt Peter-Ording were the best results for Hoppe / Höppner. After another break, Höppner played with Lisa-Sophie Kotzan in 2016 , but did not get more than 13th places in Jena and Kühlungsborn on the German tour . In 2017 she had different partners, but was not active on the tour. With Martina Stoof , she became German runner-up in the over-31 age group, as was the case the following year. In 2018 Höppner formed a new duo with Julia Laggner . On the Techniker Beach Tour 2018 , Höppner / Laggner achieved ninth and thirteenth places in various tournaments. In the four beach tournaments of the Techniker Beach Tour 2019 , they also came in 13th place. With Kathleen Weiß she won her third Ü31 title in a row.
