Memories to Go - forgive ... and forget! (Original title: Diminished Capacity ) is an American comedy film from 2008 . Directed by Terry Kinney , the screenplay was written by Sherwood Kiraly based on his own novel of the same name.

action

In Chicago reporter Cooper active suffers from memory loss. He quits his job and travels to his hometown. There he meets his uncle Rollie, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease . Cooper, Rollie, and Cooper's high school acquaintance Charlotte prepare to sell a historic, valuable ticket to a baseball game . To this end, they travel to Chicago, where a gathering of fans is held.

Reviews

John Anderson wrote in Variety magazine on January 25, 2008 that the comedy was similar to an easy-to-eat sitcom and had "low-energy" ; the well-known actors could ensure a considerable box office result. The script is emotionally manipulative.

Kirk Honeycutt wrote in The Hollywood Reporter on January 23, 2008 that the film was a comedy about memory loss that could be completely forgotten. Alda offers an interesting portrayal as a mentally unstable uncle, but Broderick looks like he's sleepwalking.
