Merza Julević (born April 17, 1990 in Göppingen ) is a German soccer player of Montenegrin descent.

Career

Julević started playing soccer at TG Reichenbach , a sports club in Donzdorf in the Göppingen district , then moved to 1. FC Donzdorf and later to FV Vorwärts Faurndau , a district club from Göppingen. In 2006 she moved to the youth department of VfL Sindelfingen . After only one season she signed the Bundesliga club SC Freiburg for the 2007/08 season for which she had played 38 Bundesliga games in three seasons and scored two goals. She made her Bundesliga debut on August 26, 2007 (2nd matchday) in the 8-1 defeat in the away game against FCR 2001 Duisburg ; her first Bundesliga goal she scored on December 9, 2007 (9th matchday) in the 3: 4 defeat in the away game against SC 07 Bad Neuenahr with the goal to the final score in stoppage time.

In the summer of 2010 she returned to VfL Sindelfingen, became champions of the second division south with the team after the 2011/12 season and was promoted to the Bundesliga . After the sporting descent of VfL Sindelfingen, she left the club and completed a trial training session with the Swedish first division club Piteå IF in July 2013 , to which she was supposed to switch in January 2014. Since this transfer broke up due to an injury, she stayed in Germany and took a seven-month break from football. During this time, she kept fit in the Sindelfingen area, but did not take part in games.

On June 20, 2014 Julević announced her return and signed with the newly promoted Bundesliga Herford SV , for whom she made her Bundesliga debut on August 31, 2014 in the 4-0 defeat in the away game against 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam . With Herford Julević rose at the end of the season. In the summer of 2016, she left the club and wanted to move to Sweden, which failed due to an injury. At the end of September 2016, Julević signed a contract with second division Arminia Bielefeld , for which she will not be eligible to play until November due to a lack of clearance. In the summer of 2017 Julević moved to the 2nd Bundesliga South to FF USV Jena II , where she was promoted to the first team on July 10, 2018.
