Michał Karbownik (born March 13, 2001 in Radom ) is a Polish football player who is under contract with the first division club Legia Warsaw . He can fill positions in midfield as well as in full defense and has been a Polish U19 international since September 2019 .

Career

Karbownik comes from the youth work of the capital association Legia Warsaw . In the 2017/18 season he was used for the first time in the reserve team Legia Warsaw II, which played in the fourth-highest Polish division . During this season he played 15 missions. In the next season 2018/19 he was already one of the top performers and played 28 league games. This enabled him to get a place in the first team for the next 2019/20 season . He made his debut on August 25, 2019 (6th matchday) in a 3-2 away win against ŁKS Łódź , when he started and prepared a goal. As a result, he quickly established himself in the starting line-up of head coach Aleksandar Vuković .

National team

Michał Karbownik played for various Polish junior teams. He has been a Polish U19 international since September 2019 .
