Michael Fuith (* 1977 in Eisenstadt , Burgenland ) is an Austrian actor .

biography

Michael Fuith grew up in Sankt Margarethen in Burgenland together with his two sisters, including the actress Simone Fuith .

In 2006 he made his debut in the feature film Kotsch with the role of Dalli at the side of Michael Ostrowski . In 2010 he played a leading role in the German horror film Rammbock . The Austrian achieved international fame in 2011 in Markus Schleinzer's drama Michael , in which he embodies the eponymous protagonist: Michael, a man in his mid-thirties who holds a boy, Wolfgang, imprisoned in the basement and sexually abused there. The film entered the race for the Palme d'Or in Cannes that same year , but did not receive an award. Michael Fuith played mainly supporting roles in various television productions, including the series Braunschlag .

At the Max Ophüls Prize Film Festival in 2012, Fuith was awarded the Actor Prize.
