Awards

reception

The television film broadcast on SAT.1 on April 24, 2012 at 8:15 p.m. was not a great success. In the advertising-relevant target group, it achieved a 10 percent market share with 1.17 million viewers. So he was subject to the simultaneous series episodes of The Fat , CSI: Miami and The Simpsons .

The reviews were mostly positive. Rainer Tittelbach praises the straightforward plot, the telegenic staging and the engaging play by Marie Zielcke, Fritz Karl and Kevin Fang. The problem of the different languages is realistically implemented. The plot is reminiscent of the suspense crime classic The Only Witness . The critic of kino.de, on the other hand, draws the comparison to the thriller Wait until it's dark , in which the leading actress is also blind. This tradition is followed by the film Persecuted - The Little Witness , whose "tension is at an impressively high level". The story and the fears about the two main characters, but also the remarkable staging, are primarily responsible for this. In this review, too, the performance of the main actors is positively highlighted, especially that of the young Kevin Fang. TV Spielfilm , on the other hand, only rates the TV film with a horizontal thumb, describes it as a trash thriller that relies on blatant types and proven statements, and draws the conclusion: "No eight treasures, but very respectable".
