Michele Beretta

Michele Beretta (born October 22, 1994 ) is an Italian racing driver . He started in the European Formula 3 championship in 2014 and 2015 .

Career

Beretta began his motorsport career in karting in 2011 . After just one year in karting, he entered formula racing in 2012 . He started for Cram Competition in Formula Abarth . Since he had only entered the championship on the third race weekend, he was not entitled to points in the overall standings. In the Italian classification, which included the events from the third race weekend, he reached eleventh place. In 2013 he contested his second Formula Abarth season for Euronova Racing by Fortec . He won a race and finished second in the drivers' championship.

In 2014 Beretta switched to EuroInternational in the European Formula 3 championship . Twelfth place was the best result of his debut season. He also made two guest starts in the Euroformula Open for BVM Racing . For the 2015 European Formula 3 Championship , Beretta received a cockpit from Mücke Motorsport . He scored points for the first time and was 22nd overall. In addition, Beretta took part in three race weekends of the GP3 series for Trident Racing .
