Mignon Remé

Mignon Remé (born April 13, 1966 in Wedel ) is a German actress .

Life

Mignon Remé was born in Schleswig-Holstein , north of Hamburg, as the daughter of two lawyers. Her family name Remé is of Huguenot origin. She made her first acting experience in a children's theater group . After graduating from high school, she began training in acting and dance at the Hamburg Stage School of Dance and Drama . In 1988 Remé went to New York City , where from 1988 to 1991 acting studies at the Herbert Berghof Studio followed; She received lessons from Uta Hagen, among others . It was there that she first came into contact with improvisational theater from teachers such as John Monteith and Nancy Ponder . In New York she also played theater, for example in Miss Julie in 1991 .

After her return to Germany (1992) she took on a number of theater roles in Hamburg, including 1993/1994 at the Kampnagel Theater under the direction of Thomas Matschoss . In 1993 she founded the improvisational theater "Hidden Shakespeare" together with Kirsten Sprick , where she is still active as an actress and director. With the ensemble “Hidden Shakespeare” she has made guest appearances at the Hamburger Schmidt Theater and the Hamburger Kammerspiele . She took part with the ensemble in numerous improvisational theater festivals, for example in Berlin , Amsterdam , Copenhagen , Seattle and Zimbabwe . From 1995 to 2010 she played regularly with Hamburger Jedermann in Hamburg's Speicherstadt . In 1998 she made a guest appearance at the Steirischer Herbst in the political satire Sonyboys by Stephan Reichenberger and Jörg Metes .

Since the mid-1990s, she also took on film and television roles. She had episode roles in the television series Faust (1996), Zwei Männer am Herd (1999), Doppelter Einsatz (2000), St. Angela (2000), Alarm für Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei (2006), Coast Guard (2007), Notruf Hafenkante (2008) and There comes Kalle (2009).

She played continuous leading roles in the Sat.1 football series Friends Forever - Life is Round (2006) directed by Sönke Wortmann and in the historic Sat.1 television series Unter den Linden - Das Haus Gravenhorst (2006). In it, she played the role of Charlotte Gravenhorst, the snobbish wife and the female head of a Berlin chocolate dynasty at the beginning of the 20th century.

In 2010 she was seen as an attractive swimming instructor Sandra in the ZDF crime series Stubbe - Von Fall zu Fall ; she had an erotic love scene in the pool with Stubbe ( Wolfgang Stumph ). In 2010, in the episode Bullenball of the ZDF crime series Wilsberg , she took on the role of hairdresser Irmgard Koehler, who connects a dark secret with the father of the male murder victim. ZDF also cast Remé in the role of reckless mayor Melissa Teerpack in the Katie Fforde film adaptation of the Devil with David (2011). 2012/2013 Remé was seen in the ARD television series Rote Rosen in a recurring role; she played Claudia Martens, the mother of one of the main characters, Sönke Martens ( Bo Hansen ).

She also had other episode roles in the TV series SOKO Köln (2014; as wife and mother Charlotte Dohmen) and Notruf Hafenkante (2016, as witness Sigrun Klatt).

For her acting performance in the short film Der Mungo , she was awarded “Best Actress” at the 2007 Budapest International Short Film Festival (BUSHO).

Remé lives in Hamburg.
