Mike Lindemann Jensen (born February 19, 1988 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish football player .

Career

society

Between Brøndby IF and Malmö FF (until 2013)

Jensen played at Brøndby IF since childhood . In 2005 he came to the club's second team and after another year in the professional team. He made his professional debut in the Superliga on August 13, 2006 in the game against Randers FC (1: 1), when he came on for Martin Ericsson in the 85th minute . On September 28, 2006 he made his first game in the European Cup in the first-round second leg of the UEFA Cup against Eintracht Frankfurt (2-2); he came on in the 86th minute for Thomas Rasmussen . In the league, he came to eleven inserts in the 2006/07 season. He scored his first goal as a professional in the 3-1 win over Silkeborg IF . In the following season he came to 13 missions.

In the summer of 2008 Jensen moved on loan to the Swedish first division team Malmö FF for six months and came to ten missions. After the loan contract ended, he went back to Brøndby and found himself on the bench again, but became a regular in the 2009/10 season. He failed in qualifying for the Europa League 2010/11 with the team in the play-offs at Sporting Lisbon .

Successful years in Norway (until 2013)

After Brøndby IF and Jensen did not agree on a contract extension at the beginning of 2013, he moved to Norwegian record champions Rosenborg BK in February 2013 . On March 17, 2013, he played his first game for Trondheim in the away game on the first match day against Odds BK and scored his first goal for his club in the 71st minute of the game with the 1-0 winner. With Rosenborg BK, Jensen regularly qualified for the Europa League and the Champions League , but so far has not got beyond the group phases. In the 2015 , 2016 and 2017 seasons he was Norwegian champion with the team and also a cup winner in 2015 .

He has been team captain since 2015 . His contract runs until 2021.

On to Cyprus

In winter 2020, after the end of the season in the Eliteserien , Jensen moved to Cyprus and is there for APOEL Nicosia .

National team

Jensen played six games for the Danish U16 national team , 27 for the U17 , four for the U18 selection , 15 for the Danish U19 national team and four for the U20 selection. He belonged in the summer of 2011 as the squad of U21 national team at the European Championship in Denmark and came in all three games of his team used; the Danish U21s were eliminated after the group stage. He played a total of 27 games (three goals) in this age group.

Jensen first played for the Danish senior team on August 11, 2010 in a friendly against Germany in Copenhagen .
