Mirkus Hahn

Mirkus Hahn (* 1968 in Burglengenfeld ) is a German actor and theater director .

Life

Mirkus Hahn comes from Eastern Bavaria , near Regensburg . At the theater he first worked as a stage technician , but then switched to acting. He trained as an actor from 1996 to 2000 at the Athanor Academy in Burghausen . He then deepened his training in 2002 by working at Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards' work center in Pontedera , Italy.

Hahn had u. a. Theater engagements at the Stadttheater Passau (1999; as Poseidon and Talthybios in Die Troerinnen ), at the Turmtheater Regensburg (2000), at the Sandkorn Theater in Karlsruhe (2002), at the Carl Orff Festival in Andechs (2003; as a witch / nobleman in Die Bernauerin ) and at the Stadttheater Regensburg / Teamtheater Munich (2003–2005; in the duo evening Da two people run into each other frontally with texts by Daniil Charms ),

In 2006 he gave guest performances at the Bucharest Metropolitan Theater and at the Sibiu Theater Festival ; there he played Vladimir in Waiting for Godot . He then worked mainly in independent theater productions. Between 2009 and 2011 he was involved in several productions by the independent Austrian theater company “ortszeit” in Leogang im Pinzgau . In 2011 he also made a guest appearance with the ensemble “ortszeit” at the theater festival in São Paulo . Further engagements followed at the “theaternyx” in Linz (2009) and at the Metropoltheater Munich (2011–2012).

In 2012/13 he appeared at the Theater an der Rott in Eggenfelden in a production of Shakespeare Macbeth , in which he took over the Lady Macbeth.

Hahn started working with the Austrian actor and director Paulus Manker in the summer of 2012 . In his production Alma , which was awarded the Nestroy Prize in 2011 , he played the role of Franz Werfel and appeared in 22 sold-out performances in the former kk post and telegraph office in Vienna . In July / August 2013 he took over the role of Richard Wagner in Manker's production Wagnerdämmerung , which was also shown in the former Imperial and Royal Post and Telegraph Office .

Occasionally Hahn also works as a theater director, for example in the 2007/08 season at the Athanor Theater in Burghausen. Hahn also did some work for film and television. He had a leading role in the movie Blindlings (2009) by director Wolfgang Weigl . He played, at the side of Barbara Romaner , a man who kidnaps his former lover in order to force her to speak in a remote mountain hut.

He was seen in an episode role in the ZDF crime series SOKO Munich in December 2015. He played the suspect Thomas Kelling, the secret lover of a murdered landlady in the Glockenbachviertel . In April 2016, Hahn was seen in a leading role in the ZDF / ORF crime series SOKO Kitzbühel . He played the suspected, convicted metal artist Edwin Dobler, who has a passion for very young girls.

Hahn lived as a freelance actor in Munich ; since his collaboration with Paulus Manker he has lived with his family in Vienna.
