Mislav Blagus (born June 10, 1991 in Zagreb , SR Croatia ) is a Croatian ice hockey player who has been under contract with the KHL Zagreb again since 2013 . Since 2015 he has been playing with the club in the Slovenian ice hockey league .

Career

Mislav Blagus began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of the KHL Zagreb , for whose first team he was active in the Croatian ice hockey league from 2006 to 2009. The attacker then moved to his city neighbor KHL Medveščak Zagreb , who was newly admitted to the Austrian ice hockey league for the 2009/10 season . In this he gave three assists in 34 games in his rookie year . In addition, the national player ran in 22 games for Medveščak's second team in the Slohokej League , in which he was able to achieve 19 points scorer, including eleven goals. In the 2010/11 season , Blagus finally prevailed at Medveščak's ÖEHL team and scored one goal and two assists in a total of 53 games. For the new cooperation partner of his club, the Zagreb team , he was also on the ice in 15 games in the Slohokej League. In addition, he won the Croatian championship title with Medveščak in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 . After Medveščak was accepted into the Continental Hockey League in 2013 and strengthened for it, there was no more place in the squad for Blagus and he returned to the KHL Zagreb in the Croatian Ice Hockey League . Since 2015 he has been playing with the club in the Slovenian ice hockey league .

International

For Croatia , Blagus participated in the junior division at the U18 Junior C World Championships in 2006 , 2007 , 2008 and 2009 , the U20 Junior C World Championships in 2008 and 2009 and the U20 Junior B World Championships in 2010 and 2011 when he was together with the Dane Markus Lauridsen was the best goal preparer of the tournament.

In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the 2010 Division I World Championship , in which he made a template in five games, but could not prevent his team from relegating. As a result, he was on the ice for Croatia in Division II at the 2011 and 2012 World Championships . At the 2013 World Cup in Zagreb at home , Blagus managed to return to Division I with the Croatians after five wins in five games, in which he was used in 2014 , 2015 , 2016 and 2017 .
