2014 NATO Summit in Wales

The 2014 NATO Summit in Wales was a meeting of the heads of state and government of NATO member states . It took place on September 4th and 5th, 2014 in Newport , Wales . These summits take place sporadically and enable the rulers and official representatives of the NATO allies to discuss current issues and to plan strategically. US Navy Admiral James Stavridis described the 2014 summit as the most important since the fall of the Berlin Wall .
